Do you find yourself chronically rescheduling appointments or plans because you have double-booked yourself?
I used to do this all time. It can be frustrating and, at times, embarassing. It is an a huge and uneccessary waste of your time.
Whenever I have a lot of different things going on throughout the week, I create a Weekly Master Plan.
This tool can be incredibly helpful if you have a work schedule that varies throughout the week or if you are taking classes and need to keep your school schedule straight (and find some homework/study time). It can also be helpful if you need to carve out some time each week for any kind of side project.
Here is a Weekly Master Plan that I made during a time when I had a lot going on every week:

When I plan, I like to color code everything, so I can quickly recognize areas of my life that I am either neglecting or putting way too much time into.
Until time-travel becomes an available thing, I always make sure to include commute times in my plan: LFW = leave for work; LFS = leave for school; LFH = leave for home.
Having all of my regularly planned obligations mapped out this way helps me to quickly see where I have free time throughout the week. In this plan, free time was coded in red. If I needed to make an appointment or carve out time for something, I could easily find my availability by consulting the red sections.
Another cool thing about creating a Weekly Master Plan is that you can schedule time for (*gasp!*) yourself. Self-care is important. You deserve time to do the things that you want to do, so do yourself a favor, and be sure to include some in your plan.
It's pretty easy to make one of these. I created this plan with just a lined sheet of paper, a ruler and a bit of washi tape.
I also have a few templates you are welcome to use. Two of them have days and times pre-filled. One of them starts the week with Monday. One of them starts the week with Sunday. The third one is blank, so you can format the hours and days of the week to your preference.
The templates are scaled to print on 8.5 x 11" paper. If you want a smaller size, you can change the settings in the print menu by changing the 'Pages per sheet' from 1 to 2:

If you decide to give the Weekly Master Plan a try, I would love to hear how it goes. :)
Wishing you a happy and well-planned week!
